First the Nexus was touted to not carry any multitouch. This is due to the software patent law that was issued to Apple in early 2009.Thus all other handsets that carries multitouch will not be available in the US (except for Palm who had flout the rules). However this patent law does not affect Europe / Asia / Oceania countries. Orange in Europe has given a heads up that the Nexus one in Europe will come with the multitouch feature.
Ouch to those who ordered one via google shop. The second ouch came shortly when users around the world starts receiving their new phone. If you are at HTC/Google forum now. You will see a spikes in users who had received their N1 and have met with low reception for 3G. Will this problem be also seen in Singapore too?
One other issue with the N1. Singapore is one of the 4 listed Country to get this phone. However the 3 Telco has no words on carrying the phone after the press conference made by Google. So why the hell is Singapore in the list anyway? This is rather puzzling. So is Singapore going to carry this phone? Or will HTC sell it to use from their Service center? Or the 3 Telco with subsidize plans? Will we receive the Europe Version or the USA version? Many questions has been asked yesterday but came to one answer. "We are in the talks with Google/HTC and looking forward to build up our phone portfolios"
UPDATED
Google has outright denied that there is such things for the Europe Market. I suppose Orange's Marketting department did not do their home work. :P
UPDATED 2
SINGAPORE is in the list of 3G issue for Nexus One. - Sunday Times.
UPDATED 3 - a question of mine
Will HTC do a mass recall to the phone which has 3G issue?
IT also spell doom if this issues goes unanswered. As Motorola Milestone hits Asian country this month. This also meant that Motorola Milestone will be the no1 android phone instead of Nexus one as there are no issues of low 3G reception so far from HK users which has received thier phone last year.
